ASX-listed miner Volt Resources has been formally granted two mining licences from the Tanzanian government for its Bunyu Graphite Project. The two mining licences are for a combined area of 17.7 km² covering the respective Stage 1 and Stage 2 developments of the graphite flake project, lasting for a period of 10 years with a right to a further 10-years renewal.

Lindi Jumbo Project Walkabout's Lindi Jumbo Graphite Project is situated in south-eastern Tanzania, approximately 200km from the port of Mtwara. The Company holds of Mining Licence M579/2018 formerly part of prospecting licence PL9992/2014 which hosts the Lindi Jumbo Graphite.

The development potential was enhanced when TanzGraphite (TZ) Limited entered into an offtake agreement to sell Epanko graphite with a European graphite trader. In January 2014 the Company commenced environmental studies at Epanko, necessary for the granting of a mining licence.
