But just to be safe, I'd put a couple dollops of construction adhesive under each board to make sure they don't shift at all. If the concrete floor is truly flat, just tile directly to the concrete board.

Since the walls on two sides are open water is a problem. Even though the floor is treated it still rots out. I know it is not an option to pour concrete over the top of the existing floor.
